CANTINETTA DI PAOLO – restaurant

In the northeast region of Italy there is a place called Veneto, land of carnivals, where instead of concrete streets there are canals that merge with the Mediterranean Sea. Cantinetta di Paolo is a restaurant that tells stories of Veneto, place of origin of Paolo Zanon, owner of the restaurant.

We based the brand’s development in roman mythology. The image of the coin in allusion to the goddess Moneta, the goddess of memory. The typography made specifically for the brand is mixed to create an ambience that refers to the origin, to Italy.

The colors reflect the intensity of the Italian culture. The lion is emblematic of the region of Veneto, we go back to the place where everything started.

Origin, in some cases, gives the cue in creating a brand that resembles the roots of a culture. The pleasure for food and wine was formed during the time Paolo Zanon lived in Italy and he brought a sample with him to Mexico.
